We intend to collect and to make accessible information on the Usher syndrome which is available in the internet. Since Usher webpages have been established by public, academic and private initiatives we have mirrored these different webpages while paying special attention to accessibility for persons with visual or hearing impairments.
The original web source is always indicated at the end of each webpage, although we cannot guarantee for the permanent existence of these webpages. We will, however, take care of regularly updating our website.
Since not all website authors comply with the design criteria for persons with visual disabilities, there may appear uncommented pictures, tables etc. on our website.
As far as possible we intend to present our website in a format accessible to persons with disabilities and we will endeavor to check the contetnts as well.In this respect we are always grateful for your comments. cooperation and support. Also we are looking for sponsors, organizations or carriers, who are willing to sustain this website after completion of the TEN CARE project in June 2000.
As a service we also offer numerous links to servers outside our control. We cannot accept any liability for the correctness of the contents of these links and in case of illegal contents we herewith explicitly reject any responsibility for it. We have provided all mirrored web texts and pictures with the original source; in case there still remain any conflicts with copy rights we request your respective information by e-mail.
